Welcome to GrandTours.co.za. By booking our tours and using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
2. Booking and Payment
All bookings must be made through our website. Payment must be completed at the time of booking. We accept various forms of payment as indicated on our website.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
Cooling-Off Period While the statutory 14-day cooling-off period may not apply to our services, we offer a 7-day cooling-off period for changes to your booking. If you need to modify the dates of your package or make adjustments due to a booking mistake, you may do so within 7 days of the initial booking, provided that:
- Payment: The payment for the package was made more than 35 days prior to the first day of your package.
- Request: Your request to change the booking is made within 7 days from the date of the original booking.
If you request changes outside of this period or if payment was made less than 35 days in advance, regular booking terms and conditions will apply.
Driver’s License Requirement A valid driver’s license is required for booking. Please upload a copy of your driver’s license at checkout. If a valid driver’s license is not provided, we will contact you for the correct document. If you are unable to provide it, we will issue a refund, subject to a 5% administrative fee.
Refund Conditions
- Late Arrival or Missed Flights: We understand that unexpected delays can occur. If you anticipate arriving late or missing a flight, please contact us as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to contact our vendors and attempt to make alternative arrangements where feasible. However, please note that we cannot guarantee that changes will be possible or that any additional costs will be covered. Refunds will not be provided for late arrivals or missed flights.
- No-Shows: No refunds will be issued for no-shows.
Refund Process To request a refund, please contact us at info@grandtours.co.za with your booking details. We will process your request in accordance with our refund conditions.
Administrative Fees A 5% administrative fee will be deducted from refunds for missing or incorrect driver’s license submissions. This fee covers administrative costs and payment gateway charges.
4. Changes to Itinerary
GrandTours.co.za reserves the right to alter itineraries without notice due to unforeseen circumstances or to enhance the quality of the trip. We will notify you of any significant changes as soon as possible.
5. Travel Insurance
It is mandatory for all travelers to have comprehensive travel insurance covering personal accidents, medical expenses, emergency repatriation, and personal liability.
6. Liability
- No Liability for Third-Party Services: GrandTours.co.za acts solely as an intermediary between you and the accommodation providers, transportation companies, and other service providers. We are not responsible for any acts, omissions, or defaults by these third parties.
- Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, GrandTours.co.za shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our services, including but not limited to personal injury, death, property damage, or financial loss.
- Assumption of Risk: By booking a tour with us, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with adventure travel, including but not limited to physical exertion, transportation, weather conditions, wildlife encounters, and other unforeseen circumstances.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GrandTours.co.za, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including legal fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with:
- Your use of our services
- Your breach of these terms and conditions
- Your violation of any law or the rights of a third party
8. Force Majeure
GrandTours.co.za shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these terms if such failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, labor disputes, natural disasters, or government orders.
9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
10. Amendments
GrandTours.co.za reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any such amendments will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon posting.
